Can I bring someone along?
Our venue and vendors place limitations on our total guest count. Because of this, please arrive only with the guests listed on our invitation. Please also note that the wedding and reception are an adults-only event.
If you have a plus-one listed on your invitation, please feel free to bring who you would like, and give us their details when you RSVP. You do not have to bring a guest if you have a plus-one.
Please note that the venue does not allow pets anywhere on the premises.
What will we eat?
The wedding will be catered by TwoMayToz in Oak Park. Dinner will be served buffet style, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
While the menu is fixed, we do plan to have gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options available for dinner. Allergens will be labeled. While it may not be possible to accommodate every combination of dietary needs, please reach out to us if you need more information about the food to help you plan.
What should I wear?
DRESS CODE: Garden Cocktail Party. Wear something fancy, fashion-y, and fun. Color, romance, and botanical points of inspiration are encouraged, but not required. Suits, but not tuxedos. Dresses of any length will fit right in. Put your best foot forward & be ready to party.
We are planning to have parts of the wedding and reception outdoors, weather permitting. Late summer in Illinois can be hot and humid. Dress for the weather and your comfort. Keep in mind that the ceremony will be held on a grass lawn.
What about gifts?
We appreciate each of you for attending our wedding, and no one should feel obligated to give a gift. If you are thinking of sending a gift: thank you!
We will not be setting up a registry to request any specific gifts. Cash gifts, which will help us begin our married life together, are preferred.
If you would like to, please feel free to bring gifts to the wedding venue. You can also mail gifts to our home; please reach out to us for the address, if needed. We can also accept cash gifts electronically here.
Is the venue accessible?
The first floor of the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have a specific concern about accessibility, please let us know.
Is there a block of hotel rooms?
We are not reserving a block of hotel rooms.
Can I take my own pictures?
Yes! Please feel free to take photos during the wedding. We request that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, to allow our photographer to get the best shots of that moment.
We will share more details about sharing photos from the wedding on the day of the event.
What if I have more questions?
Reach out to Katana or George if you need clarification on anything.
