Our Story

They met in 2017 ... 

... in a class that George was taking and Katana was TAing. They spent most of the trimester staring at each other from across the room before George gathered the courage to initiate a friendly conversation with Katana outside of class. From there, the two spent their remaining college years traveling around western Illinois, to and from Katana's home city of Aurora, CO, and around Chicago in Katana's humble and reliable 2001 Honda Civic, making memories and friends as they went. Chicago would be where they would settle in 2020 and begin the project of building their post-bachelor's degree professional lives. They have spent 8 (!!!!!!!!) loving years together and are looking forward to many, many more. They aspire to see more of the world together as their lives grow and change.
