Garden Cocktail Party. Wear something fancy, fashion-y, and fun. Color, romance, and botanical points of inspiration are encouraged, but not required. The wedding colors are Royal Blue and Sage Green, but there is no expectation or requirement for guests to dress to these colors.
Suits (but not tuxedos) and dresses of any length will fit right in. Wear a tie, or don't wear a tie. Put your best foot forward & be ready to party!
We are planning to have parts of the wedding and reception outdoors, weather permitting. Late summer in Illinois can be hot and humid, so dress for the weather and with your comfort in mind.
As you consider your footwear and hem length, remember that the ceremony will be held on a grass lawn.
If this is still confusing to you (!) google "cocktail attire," think about yourself sitting outside in Illinois in late summer, and let the answers follow—or, reach out to Katana and/or George for help!
